SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
These Official Rules govern the Fans First Research Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
1. SPONSOR
The Sponsor is Fans First Research, LLC, 2014 Edgewater Dr, Suite 112, Orlando, FL 32804, United States (the “Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is administered solely by the Sponsor.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. The Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
Members, managers, employees, and contractors of the Sponsor, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) and household members of each, are not eligible to enter or win.
3. PROMOTION PERIOD AND ENTRY PERIODS
The Sweepstakes is ongoing and is conducted in successive entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”). The Sponsor expects to award one prize approximately every six (6) months. The current Entry Period and its start and end dates and drawing date are posted on the Site.
Each entry is valid only for the Entry Period in which it is received; entries do not carry over to a later Entry Period. The Sponsor reserves the right to begin, modify, suspend, or end Entry Periods, and to post the applicable dates on the Site, provided that the dates and odds for any active Entry Period are disclosed before that period closes.
4. HOW TO ENTER
There are two (2) ways to enter during an Entry Period, and both methods have an equal chance of winning:
(a) Online survey entry. Complete and submit a survey on the Site and provide a valid email address. Each completed survey constitutes one (1) entry.
(b) Free mail-in entry (no survey required). On a plain 3” x 5” card, type or hand-print your full name, email address, mailing address, and a statement that you are at least 18 years old, and mail it in a stamped envelope to: Fans First Research, LLC, Attn: Sweepstakes – Free Entry, 2014 Edgewater Dr, Suite 112, Orlando, FL 32804, United States. Each separately stamped and hand-addressed mailing constitutes one (1) entry and must be received during the applicable Entry Period. Mechanically reproduced or bulk entries are not eligible.
No purchase or payment is necessary, and using the free mail-in method does not reduce your chance of winning. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted by automated means are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or undelivered entries.
5. PRIZE
One (1) prize will be awarded per Entry Period: a $500 Visa® gift card. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $500.00. The prize is awarded “as is” and is subject to the terms, conditions, and expiration of the issuing bank and the gift-card network. The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. No cash alternative is offered. The total ARV of all prizes offered does not exceed $5,000.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
For each Entry Period, the Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during that Entry Period, on or about the drawing date posted on the Site. The potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided with the entry.
The potential winner must reply to the notification email within seven (7) days to confirm acceptance and provide a valid email address for delivery of the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within seven (7) days, if the notification is undeliverable, or if the potential winner is found to be ineligible or in violation of these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and, time permitting, an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. The prize will be delivered electronically (by emailed gift card) to the address the winner provides.
7. TAXES
All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Because the ARV of the prize is below $600, the Sponsor does not anticipate issuing an IRS Form 1099 for a single prize; however, if any winner receives prizes from the Sponsor totaling $600 or more in a calendar year, the Sponsor may require a completed IRS Form W-9 and may issue a Form 1099 as required by law.
8. PRIVACY
Information collected from entrants is used to administer the Sweepstakes and is otherwise handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available on the Site. By entering, you agree to the Sponsor’s use of your information for those purposes.
9. PUBLICITY
Acceptance of a prize does not require the winner to sign a separate publicity release. However, except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize the winner consents to the Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, last initial, and state of residence for the limited purpose of announcing the winner, without additional compensation.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASE
By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its members, managers, officers, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned for any reason, the Sponsor may cancel, modify, or suspend it and award the prize from eligible entries received.
11. NON-AFFILIATION DISCLAIMERS
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Visa Inc. or any gift-card issuer. Visa is a registered trademark of its owner, used here only to describe the prize.
This Sweepstakes is also in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any event, convention, organizer, venue, or brand referenced on the Site, including without limitation Anime Expo, Fanatics Fest, San Diego Comic-Con, and Anime NYC. All such names and marks are the property of their respective owners.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sponsor is not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate information; technical failures of any kind; or any injury or damage to any person or property related to participation in the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor’s sole obligation is to award the prize in accordance with these Official Rules.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Except where prohibited, any dispute relating to the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
14. WINNER LIST
To request the first name, last initial, and state of residence of the winner for a given Entry Period, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Sponsor at the address above, or email info@fansfirstresearch.com within sixty (60) days after the applicable drawing date. The Sponsor will provide only the winner's first name, last initial, and state of residence, consistent with Section 9.
